Mr. Mills was a native of Cherokee County and a farmer. He was a mem ber and Deacon of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and a former mason. He was the son of the late T. C. and Phoebe Gentry Mills. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday In Hanging Dog Bap tist Church. The Rev. Weldon West officiated, and burial was in the church cemetary. Grandsons were pallbearers - and Granddaughters were flower bearers. Surviving are the widow Mrs. Donna Garrett Mills. Elghthdaughters, Mrs. Roma Graves, Mrs. Thelma Gaddls, Mrs. Jean Dockery of Springfield, Ohio; and Mrs. Lowella Graves, Mrs. Marie Graves, Mrs. Stella O'Dell. Mrs. Christine O'Dell, and Miss Cleo Mills, of the home, all of Murphy, Route #3. Three sons Clinton and Hoover of Springfield, Ohio and Bruce of Murphy. A sister Mrs. Fannie Davis of Bewlah, Idaho. Three brothers Gld R. and Maynard of Murphy, and Frank of Akron, Ohio. 51 Grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren. [vie Funeral Home was In charge of the arrangements. Paid by Family.
