Tournament Feb. 2J-25 in the
Jones Health and Physical
Education Center on the PSU
campus.
The tournament will include
men's and women's singles
and doubles. Also mixed doub
les tournament will also be
played.
"The men's singles are dos
ed but we do have several
openings in the other categor
ies," commented Dr. Ken
Johnson, director of the tour
nament. "We have many fine
tennis players who will be
playing in this tournament and
invite tennis players in the
participate."
Top seeded in the tourna
ment are Doug Elier, from
Florida's Hickory Coup try .
Club sad FSU graduate Kick
Kinney, former No. 1 player at
UNC-Charlotte who reached
the semi-finals last year; Paul
Getnborys, presently No. 1
tennis player at UNC-Wil
mington; and Rod Stewart, a
former No. 1 player at Pem
broke State and currently pro
at Clover Field Tennis Cjiub in
Fayetteville.
