N.C. spent his vacation visiting Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, then to Bellingrath Mansion and Gardens, on the Isle-N 'Oila River, near Mobile, Ala bama. Mrs. Bellingrath was an active collector of antiques. Many.of the fine pieces are from old plantation homes in the Gulf Coast area from homes in New Orleans, La. Few residences anywhere ? combine the charm of design and construction, the richness of the furnishings and the rarity of art objects found in the Bellingrath home. Next stop was New Orleans, La., where Mr. Bell took a tour of the city, and then he traveled to Burnside, La. where he toured "Houmas House," the graceful three-story spiral staircase, a masterpiece of skill and craftsmanship. Hou mas House has been featured over the past few years in National Geographic, Life Holiday Magazine, it was the setting for the movie "Hush Hush. Sweet Charlotte," starring Bette Davis, Olivia De Haviland, and Joseph Cotten. Rec. Dept. to sponsor Bike Race The Robeson County Rec reation Department will aponaor an I l-MUe Bike Race Sunday.
