Loc/c/^^P honored on Birthday The faculty and staff of Piney Grove School held a surprise social hour on Jan. 6 in honor of Principal Grady Locklear on his birthday.' Mrs. Josephine Ransom presided over the occasion. Mr.Thomas Low cry, assistant principal, and Mrs. Caramal Locklear presented Locklear with a nice pen set from his staff. The following poem was written and presented by Mrs. Helen Smith; Happy Birthday Mr. Grady, some people say we are as young as we feel..And we believe this is true...For there are days we feel very young...but days we feel seventy-two...But, every birthday is really a gift from God...Allowing us to continue on the path of life to trod... Many times we hesitate about our age... But it's just a matter of turning a new page...For life, is like a book...we add pages every day.... And others can only read the things we do and say...Mr. Grady, age is a state of mind...not just the years you've lived...For we believe out of your young heart...you'll have many years to give...Enjoy this your day, as you turn another page...We don't know how old you are...so don't worry about your age. ?????????# ?>t. cHaxoHd. cJJexxtng, (J^ixsctox bailment (Ofitomeixic dlinie ? ^0 * announces an increase in office hours at ^PsmLxoIzz d^Ln-Lc J dolYzge. iPCeiza xcxon torn <P.<?.*ll.)
