Registration deadline is June 1. Students between the ages of 14 and 18 will meet to share ideas and concerns about the issues that affect the lives of all Indian youth. Focusing on the conference theme, "In dian Youth: Leaders of To morrow-Making a Differ ence" workshops will include such topics as- leadership, self-development and Indian heritage. The conference is being sponsored by the North Caro lina Native American Youth Ocganization (NCNAYO). Officers of NCNAYO will-be elected during tne confer ence. Established in June of 1960. the organization unites young people from the state's five tribes and three Indian urban organization. An art contest and essay contest will be special fea tures of the conference.
