Patsy Lowry, Carolyn Deese. Connee Bray boy and Marty Locklear. The parents began the day by visiting the school and pinning corsages and boa tonnaires on every teacher, aide and employee in the school. There are 88 persona employed at Prospect School. The flowers were prepared by Rose Carter of Carter's Row ers in Pembroke. During the evening meet ing of the PTO. the teachers were entertained' by Royce Bullard, a student, who pre sented her rendition in song of "what the teachers mean to us." Each teacher, the principal and the assistant principal and guidance counselor were presented certificates of ap preciation by the parents. William C. Chavis. assistant principal, expressed the tfidBghts of the teachers. He said. "Thank you for making our day...If it had been raining, you would have caus ed the sun to shine." Officers for the 1982-83* school year were elected. They are: Diane Goins, presi dent; Jennings Bullard, vice ?; cnt; Connee Brayboy, s- tary; and Patsy Lowry, l: usurer. Miss Dial presently resides in Salamanca. New York. Miss Dial is employed by the Cornell University Co operative Extension Associ ation as a Program Leader in Home Economics. Her major responsibilities are develop ing educational programs for Consumer Economics and Housing issues. Miss Dial has been appoin ted to the Cornell University Department of Human Ecolo gy Agent/ Faculty Committee on Housing. The function of this committee is to identify housing needs and establish present and long range goals to meet these needs.
