preview of the "big schools"
they will attend hi the fall.
The schools visited by the
preschoolers included Pem
broke Elementary, Union
Elementary, Deep Branch
Elementary, Union Chapel
Elementary, and Prospect

Banquet. This banquet wil be
held at the Pembroke Jayoee
Building on July 1. 1987 at
7:30 p.m. The purpose of this
affair is to present four
presbgcms awards to Lum
bees who have dedicated their
lives to the plight of the
Lumbee People. These four
awards are: 1) Business Per
son Award. 2) Henry Berry
Lowry Award. 3) Distinguish
ed Service Award, 4) Ad
vancement of Education A
ward.
Guest speaker for this affair
will be Congressman Charles
Rose. 7th District North Car
olina. He is a life long
resident of Fayetteville, NC
and graduated from Davidson
College. He received his Law
Degree from the University of
North Carolina Law School at
Chapel Hill.
