Wort involves the compilation of updated delin quent tax lists, contact with individual taxpayers to re quest full or partial payment, and the application of enfor cement proceedings against taxpayers who willfully refuse to pay their taxes. Work requires the use of indepen dent judgment in a wide variety of collection activities. The employee must exercise considerable tact and firm ness in serving the public.
