State and County Offices. v All voters registered with the Robeson County Board of Elections are eligible to vote in the general election. Morton Supervisor of Elections J01 ANNOUNCEMENT Legal Services of the Lower Cape Fear is seeking a licensed attorney to work in the Wilmington office of Legal Services of the Lower Cape Fear. The Program?Legal Ser vices of the Lower Cape Fear is a legal aid program render ing civil legal assistance to , indigent individuals in eight southeastern North Caolina counties. Legal Services of the Lower Capr Fear provides advice and counseling to the 130,000 eligible clients it serves in the predominately rural eight counties of south eastern North Carolina, while concentrating its litigational and representational capad-' ties in the areas ct public benefits, education and job training, housing and housing development. This attorney will spend the majority of his ' or her time in representing indigent individuals and groups in the eight counties served by this program. Add itionally. this attorney will render general assistance through a Telephone Assist tance Project to persons in a j multiplicity of legal areas. There is an emphasis on legal education tor low- income people, and all attorneys are expected to assist in this area. Presently there is a central office in Wilmington, North Carolina. The primary method of service and intake is through a toll-free assistance number staffed by a licensed ' attorney each day, and provi ding the general assistance for a balanced program to the client population. The legal staff of the program consists of four attorneys and two paralegals.
