MAYNOR The Grove family reunion will be held at the Cumberland County Association for Indian People in FayetteviOe on Saturday at 1 p.m. All relatives, many of whom live in Sampson and adjoining counties, are urged to attend and bring a covered dish. Mrs. Doris Ammons Moralis and son are spending some time wfth her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Ammons of Clinton, Route 4. Pear lie Emanuel of Route 1, Godwin, visited Jessie Brewmgton and family Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Simmons and yours truly traveled to Fayet teville on Friday afternoon to see their grandsons, Msrchelo and Brian Maynor, play baseball. The three stopped at a restaurant on their return home for the evening meal. It was an enjoyable trip for the threesome. Clifton Jacobs is home for a few days. Clifton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Jacobs of Clinton. The Coharie Methodist Church will have a plate sale July 14 at the church on U.S. 421 beginning at 11 a.m. Funds will be used for floor covering for the kitchen area. This is sponsored by the woman's auxiliary. Annie E. Davis and Frances Maynor spent Sunday night and Monday at Surf City. They also visited Jessie Brewingtan who is recuperating at home BCrs.
