MARIE OXENDINE YOU ARE AUTUMN SPLENDOR by Jane 0. Chavis Autumn comes and Au tumn goes... The splendor of your love, you bestow... Homeless at the young age of 12 years old... The world seemed so lonely and so cold... To a young child who was all alone... Taken in to an unknown home... God brought you^ through, those times are gone... For you are loved wherever you roam... You've taken care of many in need... Mother, father, fami ly, friends indeed... You've crept out lightlv-durine the night...To leave a christian track in the pale moon light... Hoping for some lost soul to see... And from 'sin they would rapidly flee... The author of motherhood you seem to be... You do so much but never charge a fee... The mother of five you used to be... But God took two and left you three... Dennis and Dallas are waiting for you... Sis and I will be coming too... Jerry, on this special day. we Know won't be left behind... Cause you. through prayer, helped meet his fine... Be cause of you our days are brighter... You've got a good life you've been quite a fight er... You are Autumn Splen dor Mother dear... We wish you happiness the coming year. In 1783, Noah Webster published his "American Spelling Book".
