Winifred Lindsay Education/Administrative
Building at Odum Home,
one of 12 BCH facilities statewide
Lindsay. 91 .a retired teacher from
Boiling Springs, has committed
$300,000 toward the school. A longterm
family friend of hers. Joann
Lutz. said. "Mrs Lindsay's No 1.
goal in life is to help educate children
She realizes that so many poor
children need a chance and she believes
this project is an outstanding
way to help them."
Betty Davis Britt of Lumberton
has given $50,000 toward the building.
Mrs. Britt made her gift in
memory of her late husband. James
