Pembroke Kiwanis Report by Dr. Ken Johnson The weekly meeting w as he Id Tuesday evening. March 14. at the Jade Garden Restaurant with President Carlton Mansfield presiding. New Football Coach Frank Jemigan was the speaker. He is truly a very believer in the running game, passing options but apparently leery of interceptions. He is a believer in conditioning, discipline and player commitment to studies, to being good citizens, to weight training, to not missing class attendance, to being on tine for practice, to never staying down, to never giving up. His speech was very motivational You can see the Rams have truly a good coach in tow with the help of Son Clay and a truly professional staff in the making. "Kiwanis members", said Pat Bullard, "are behind you Coach Jemigan. All the way." The Pembroke Kiwanis Club is presenting an Easter Dinnerand Dance at the Highlands in Laurinburg on Friday, April 13, 2001 from 7 p.m. until I a.m. Admission is S25 per person.
