The Board of Directors of the Indian Honor Association is
comprised of representatives of six districts, as well as three
persons who represent the county at-large.
District # 1 is comprised of North and South Pembroke.
Alfordsville. Union. Rowland. Caddys and Thompsons Precincts.
This district is represented by Willie James Mitchell
(910) 422-3250. Because North and South Pembroke Precincts
are the largest Indian precincts, four people are each
representing one-fourth of the population. District #1 has
3.083 Indian registered voters. These figures are based on the
statistics available as of November 1992 and does not reflect
..the voters list after the purging of the rolls.
District #2 is comprised of 2,651 voters and includes Maxton.
Prospect. Oxendine precincts. Board member in that district
is Pauline B. Locklear (910) 521-0174.
District #3 is comprised of Burnt Swamp. Philadelphus. Raft
Swamp. Red Springs # 1 and # 2 and Shannon precincts.
There are 3.199 voters in this district. Representatives are
Lemark(9l0)521-9711 and Lee A. Maynor (910) 521-4227.
District #4 has a total of 3,672 voters and includes Pembroke
North and South, Saddletree, Rennert, Lumber Bridge,
Parkton, North and South St. Pauls, East and West Howelsville
precincts. Board member is Dr. Welton Lowry (910) 4354.
District - is comprised of 3.277 voters and is comprised of
Pembroke North and South. I.umberton. #11, #2, #3, #4, #5,
#6. #7. fctf. Wisharts and Britts precincts. Board member is
Joel Oarth I ockleur (10) 521-2614.
District o 6 is comprised of 3.128 voters and includes Pembroke
North and South. Back Swamp. Smyrna, Orrum,
Sterlings. Whitehouse. I airmont 1 and 2, precincts. Board
members for this district are Agnes Chavis (910) 521-2614
and Hrnestine Dulifant.
At-large directors: there will be three at-large members.
