How to Know God's True
Church Today
Ever> true followerofChrist wants
to find the true church of Jesus Christ.
However, there is much confusion on
this subject, t here are many churches
and each says. "We are the true
church." I low can you be certain which
is God's true church today?
If all the different flags in the
world were hung upon a line, could
you tell which is your flag? Surely.
Just as y ou can easily locate your flag
by certain specifications, you can easily
and w ith certainty locate which is
the true church of Jesus Christ. Elder

for Truth on revealing these identifying
marks.
God reveals the false church and
He calls it Babylon. Revelation / 7:35:
"So he carried me away in the spirit
intothe wildemess:and I saw a woman
sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of
names of blasphemy, having seven
heads and ten horns. (4) And the
woman was arrayed in purple and
scarlet color, and decked with gold
and precious stones and pearls, having
a golden cup in her hand full of
abominations and filthiness of her
fornication; (5) And upon her forehead
wasa name written. MYSTERY.

ABOMINATIONS OF THE
EARTH."
"Babylon is fallen." From what
has she fallen? From Bible truth!
God says that His people are still in
Babylon, but He wants His people to
come out. Revelation 18:2,4: "And
he cried mightily w ith a strong voice,
saying. Babylon the great is fallen, is
fallen, and is become the habitation
of devils, and the hold of every foul
spirit, and a cage of every unclean and
hateful bird." "And I heard another
voice from heaven, saying. Come out
of her. my people, that ye be not
partakers of her sins, and that ye
receive not of her plagues."
Just before Jesus comes, a message
is to go to everyone on planet
earth. Revelation 14:6-12: "And I
saw another angel fly in the midst of
heaven.,having the everlasting gospel
to preach upon them that dwell on
the earth, and to every nation, and
kindred, and tongue, and people. (7)
Saying with a loud voice. Fear God.
and giv* glory' to him; for the hour of
his judgment is come and worship
him that made heaven, and earth, and
the sea. and the fountains of waters.
(8) And there followed another angel
saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen,
that great city, because she made all
nations drink of the wine of the wrath
of her fornication. (9) And the third
angel followed them, saying with a
loud voice, if any man worship the
beast and his image, and receive his
mark in forehead, or in his hand, (10)
The same shall drink of the wine of
the wrathofGod. which is poured out
w ithout mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented
with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels, and in the
presence of the Lamb. (II) And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up
for ever and ever; and they have no
rest day nor night, nor worship the
beast and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name. (12)
) lere is the patience of the saints; here
are they that keep the commandments
of God, and the faith of Jesus."
By comparing Jeremiah 6:2,
Isaiah 51:16, and II Corinthians
11:2 we come to only one conclusion,
that this woman of Revelation
12 is a figure or symbol of the true
church of Jesus Christ. Revelation
21:1: "And there appeared a great
wonder in heaven; a woman clothed
with thesun, and the moon under her
feet, and upon her head a crown of
twelve stars."
Chapter 12 of Revelation describes
the conflict between Christ
and Satan- how Satan has tried to
destroy God's church. Revelation
12:3,9: "And there appeared another
wonder in heaven; and behold a great
red dragon, having seven heads and
ten horns, and seven crowns upon his
heads " "And the great dragon was
cast out. that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into
the earth, and his angels were cast out
with him."
In Ezekiel 4:6 we read, I have
appointed thee each day for a yew.
So 1,260 days equals 1,260 years.
This is importantto know as we look
at Revelation 12:6 and it tells us how
long the church was to be persecuted.
"And the woman fled into the
wilderness, where-she hath a place
prepared of God. that they should
feed her there a thousand two hundred
and threescore days."
The dragon Is the devil, the
woman is the church, and the remnant
is a church that will keep all the
original teaching of the original
church of Christ. Revelation 12:17:
"And the dragon w as wroth with the
woman, and went to make war with
the remnant of her seed, w hich keep
the commandments of God. and have
the testimony of Jesus Christ."
The testimony of Jesus is th e spirit
of prophecy. Revelation 19:10: "...for
the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of
prophecy."
Cod's true church today will keep
all of God's commandments. John
14:15: "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
The Lord has truefollowers in all
churches. John 10:16: "And other
sheep I have, which are not of this
fold; (hem also I mast bring, and the)
shall hear m> voice, and there shall
be one fold, and one shepherd."
God is calling each of us. John
10:27: "My sheep hear m> voice, and
I know them . and the) follow me."
Those who keep the truth are
going to go through those pearly
gales. Revelation 22:14: "Blessed
are the) that do his commandments, i
that the) mas has e the right to the tree
of life, and mas enter in through the
gates into the citv."
