came as a distinct shock to the r

The deceased was boiQ. in
Granville County, and had lived
in Durham for 29 years. She liad
been married for a little more
than 30 years. About 10 years
after coming to Durham she eoii-
nected herself with the White^
Rock Baptist church of this
where she remained a member

Surviving her besides her hus
band are two daughter^, Mrs.
Grace Outlaw of Philadelphia,
and Mrs. Lydia Allison ilso of
