STREES^fibdR ■ 1' Faces are but the .outward expres- jrton of the soul I We all know of exceptions to that rule .. . know of wrinkled and even scowl-appearing countenances which mask personali ties brilliant In their warm sunlight of happiness they create for others. But, tbe rule can, and should be remembered by all women anxious to maintain their beauty as they ap proach the autumns of their lives. So, let 118 beware of constant scowls and frowns, of grim mouths. They some day will produce lines and wrinkles which will be difficult to erase—^Unes and wrinkles which will rob aa rf our youth, whatever our age. Most worry-lines are unnecessary. Here’s my proof of that statement: the other day I tried to make a list of all the “big” worries I had a year ago. Strangely enough, the list died being born* 1 simply could not re member of a single major worry which had gnawed at the cheerful ness of my life a year ago. I bad worries, of course. But what were theyt You can do the same. Try to make a “wrry list” for 12 months ago. You will be amaz^ at the few items you can enter. Then, make a ;ll8t't>f today’s worries. Study them. One by one remove them from the list, as you see their solution or as you realize that they aren’t worth worrying about. The entire experiment will do this Ifor you... It will cause you to smile jet yourself. And rather than worry- lllnes and wrinkles, you’ll develop laugh-Unes--happiness lines which add to beauty! If lines already are beglnnlag to appear around eyes or mouth, a good cream, especially made for the purpose, may help you. Obtain sucl a cream and massage it gently int your skin. Do this twice each day Poor eyesight can be causing yot to frown or squint If this is both erlngyou, you, of course, want to im mediately see a good optometrist. If you simply feel that you cannol smile, there is something the mat ter with you. You probably art weary, and wetfriness easily showi In one’s face. Early to bed for a few nights will help. And fresh all and sunshine will add new enthusi asm to your spirits. Spring is upon us, exemplified bj the budding freshness of all growing things about Uis. Spring is a "new" season, when the earth awakens aft er its winter’s sleep. We too cau awaken . . . can gain for ourselvef a new lease on our lives and present cheerful, happy faces to the world and to our families and friends. A new and different hair style maj be your magic. Or perhaps youi hair needs more care to restore-lt* natural appearance. Beautiful haii . . . a happy face—these are two elements which can attract life and love to any woman, regardless oi her age. Remember this: Spring is here. You, too, can change and freshen ahd abandon tbe darkness of unbap- piness. Be cheerful, be gay—enjoj life! What tre your beauty problems?
