Drive, both white, were bound
over to Superior Court here kst
we«k, on charges of conspiracy
in the September 12th bombing;
of a non-striking Western 'Elec
tric worker’s hohie. The two
were bound over to Superior
Court' by Municipal Court
Judge Leroy Sams and remain-
ed in county Jail under bonds of
$25,000 each. Judge Sams, after
hearing probable, cauae against
McBride and Handy, raised
their bonds from fl5,00 to
$25,000, although their attor
ney Oren McClain complained
the hike in bonds was “outrage
ous”, and that tlie accused men
would not be able to "get out”.
Judge Sams explained, he set
the bonds higher so the two
men would not get out'of jail,
and, would “be sure to be here
for trial”.
