Judge Sams, after hearing probable, cauae against McBride and Handy, raised their bonds from fl5,00 to $25,000, although their attor ney Oren McClain complained the hike in bonds was “outrage ous”, and that tlie accused men would not be able to "get out”. Judge Sams explained, he set the bonds higher so the two men would not get out'of jail, and, would “be sure to be here for trial”.
