Funeral servies for James Al
fred Hawkins, 7B, of 708 Linwood
avenue, were scheduled for White
Rock Baptist Church on Friday,
November 6 at four o’clock p.m.
Hawkins a resident of Durham
for the past 35 years died at his
residence on Sunday, Nov. 1.
The Rev. Miles M. Fisher was
scheduled to officiate at the
church service. Burial services at
Beechwood cemetery were slated
to follow immediately. Born in
Cary, Hawkins was son of the late
Hev. Thomas and Nannie Jones
Uawkins.
The deceased was a graduate of
A and M College of Greensboro,
now A anii T, in the class of 1935.

He was a member of the deacon i
