The Rev. Miles M. Fisher was scheduled to officiate at the church service. Burial services at Beechwood cemetery were slated to follow immediately. Born in Cary, Hawkins was son of the late Hev. Thomas and Nannie Jones Uawkins. The deceased was a graduate of A and M College of Greensboro, now A anii T, in the class of 1935. !le was a retired contrsctor and !oncrete ornament maker and sen ior partner of the Durham Haw- !;ins and Hawkins firm.
