GOOD REASOI^
--In-a Wisconsin county coitft, a
defendant was found guilty of
failing to stop for a stop sign.
After assessing a stiff fine and
costs, the judge asked the man,
“It there any reason you feel the
penalty is too great?”
The defendant said. “Darn right,
I went thhrough that stop sign
real slow.”
j The judge replied, “You mean
to say that if you stabbed a man
1 -lo.vly I should let you go?”
