Holiday music and the sing ing of carols by all present was a highlight of the party, but the arrival of Santa Claus with a bag full of gifts for the children was the main attrac tion. • • • MISS CATHY ROLLINS IS HONORED AT SHOWER Miss Cathy Rollins was feted last Saturday night at a bridal shower at the home of Mrs. A. PLAY IS HIGHLIGHT OF YW'S FAMILY NIGHT "The Dollmaker's Difficult Christmas" presented by the YWCA's creative dramatics class was the highlight of the Christmas party program for JJie YWCA's family night last Wednesday at the YWCA on Chapel Hill Street. Families and friends of the YWCA from all over the city traditionally gather each year in early December to join in the celebration of the Christ mas season. In addition to the play, two narrated ballets taken from Hans Christian Andersen's Christmas stories was present ed by children in the YWCA's ballet classes; a classical bal let to music from "The Nut cracker Suite" was performed; there was reading entitled "Christmas in the Barn"; "Jingle Bells'' was sung by the YWCA play school and story hour children; and there were solos and other novelty num bers presented as well as Christmas carols which were sung by all those attending the Continued on page 5A .A. group also sang Christmas ca rols and all enjoyed a delicious repast of turkey, peas, pota toes, yams, cake and coffee.
