Photos by Covington Rogai Henry Spooks Radio, TV Ownership Said In Reach of Blacks GREENSBORO, N.C. -Blacks can increasingly be come owners of radio and television stations, if they are willing to pay their dues, the nation's top black broadcast manager said here Saturday. Ragan Henry, whose Broadcast Enterprises Net work Inc. firm of Philadel phia already owns six radio stations, made the remark during . the second annual A&T State University mass media conference. Henry, the Harvard -trained lawyer and broad cast executive, pointed out that the Special Task Force of the National Association of Broadcasters is commit ted to raising $15 million for "seed capital" to support minority persons wanting to own a broad cast ' station. Henry said the $15 million could total $300 million in acquisitions "if it is used right." "Entry into owner ship is becoming and will cot continue to become easier for blacks." he said. "Many are willing to pre dict the tripling of minor ity ownership in three years."
