Hallie Lawson Reeves will be honored in an Appre ciation Service, Friday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Fisher Me morial United Holy Church. The service is being sponsored by the Young People's Holy Association and the Youth in Action Club of Fisher Memorial U. H. Church. It is oc casioned by her acceptance of a Chaplaincy at St. Eliza beth's Hospital in Washington, D. C. Rev. Reeves is a. native of Durham, a product of the Durham City Schools and a graduate of North Carolina Central University. She is a former teacher of music in the Durham City Schools and for many years has been a private teacher of piano. Rev. Reeves, a 1978 graduate of the Duke University School of Divinity, was ordained August 10 by the Western North Carolina District of the United Holy Church.
