The corridor then proceeds in a southeasterly direction, crossing SR 1006, SR 1 133 and SR 1009, turn ing southerly at the Duke Power Company Transmission Line. The corridor then crosses SR 1723 and parallels NC 86 on the west and runs west of Blackwood Station. The corridor crosses NC 86 and turns eastward in the vicinity of the present intersection of NC 86 with southeasterly, crossing US 15-501 near the Oranage-Durham County Line, northeast of Chapel Hill. The corridor then continues southeasterly, northeast of Chapel Hill. The corridor then continues southeasterly, passing just west of the Leigh Farm (National Historic Site) and crosses existing NC 54 just east of SR 1110 (Farrington Road). The corridor then turns easterly and continues crossing NC 751, Southern Railway. SR 1111 (Fayetteville Road) and existing NC 54 in the vicinity of Duke Power Company Transmission Lines, then continuing along, north of, and generally parallel to existing NC 54 at the existing treminus of 1-40 and the North-South Freeway in the Research Triangle Park.
