Part of this is a gift for materials of in terest to Senior Citizens and part as memorials tor three deceased Members: Raiford Pate, Mrs. Mamie Riley and Miss Dorothy Wilson. This money was raised at an auction held among its members at their last meeting for this year. Miss Regina Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Parker of Bahama is spending the summer with her aunt, Mrs. Bernice Wells, in Washington, D.C. Miss Acquilla Parker came from Greensboro to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Marsh recently. The meeting of the R.G. Lipscomb Bible Class of Mount Level Baptist Church was held recently at the home of Mrs. Ruby Overby on Stanley Road. The Usher Board of Red Mountain Baptist Church, Rougemont, held its meeting Sunday, June 22, at the church. Approximately 25 members were present. Oliver Bullock is president and Rev. Cureton Johnson is pastor. Congratulations and best wishes to newlyweds: Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Marsh who were married Saturday, June 21, at Duke Gardens. Mrs. Marsh is the former Miss Belinda Lunsford and the daughter of the late Mrs. Margaret Lunsford. The reception followed in the Edison Johnson Center. Congratulations are also in order to Rev. and Mrs. Norris Calvin Wilken. The Chandilier Social Club held its regular meeting at the home of member Ethel Hopkins, 840 Drieser St., on Sunday, June 15. Tentative plans were discussed for summer activities. The members thank those friends who shared their enjoyable weekend attending the Durhamite affair in Silver Spring, Md. Yancey and family, arrived home Sun day morning after having spent a couple of months with Mrs. Yancey in Maryland.
