Ellsworth Tait, a student at Southeastern Baptist Theology Seminary, Wake Forest, delivered the message to a capacity audience at the 1 1 a.m. service at First Calvary Baptist Church when the Young Adult Department observed its 14th Anniversary at the church. Rev. Tait was presented by Mrs. Barbara Harris. His topic was: Character and his text was from II Corin thians. Music was furnished by the Young Adult Gospel Choir under the direction of Mrs. Hortense M. Jones. Mrs. Vernon Thompson presided. She was assisted by Misses Sharon Potter and Loviney Reddrick, Mrs. Ber nice Snipes and Carl D. Merritt, Raymond Hayes, Paul Cornigans and Ralph Mack. Rev. Tait is a member of White Rock Baptist Church, a graduate of Virginia State University with a major in music. He attended Shaw University for one year. At White Rock, he directs the Junior Choir.
