Kelly Miller Smith, president of the National Conference of Black Churchmen, says the Churchmen join the Con vention's Black Caucus in its support of Presi dent Carter. These are the first in a number of black clergy endorsements resulting from the formation of the National Committee of Concerned Clergy for Carter (CCC), a national inter-denominational committee of clergy formed to urge a massive mobilization of their con gregations on Election Day. Rev. Maurice Dawkins, executive secretary of the CCC says, the clergy "will tell the story of President Carter's good works from the pulpits as well as of this Ad ministration, its thirty billion dollar recovery plan, and its two billion dollar jobs plan for school dropouts and unemployed youth." Bishop H.H.
