California, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and Atlanta,
Georgia:
The highlight of the An
nual Trade Show at the
banquet on Sunday even
ing, November 9, featured
the competitive, human
hair styling by contestants
from many areas.
Ms. Jean Smith, Atlan
ta, was the winner of the
Master Trophy in the
Competitive Hair Style
show. She had earlier won
a second place trophy to
. earn the right to compete
for the Master Trophy
finals.
Mrs. Esther Wiley, of
Durham, is the founder of
the Annual Trade Show
which brings many
' outstanding beauty ex
perts and products for the
public to observe and par
ticipate in. She was also
the coordinator for the
Twelfth Annual Trade
Show held in Durham.
John Cullen of Atlanta,
Bronner Brothers agent,
directed the contest.
The North Carolina
Beauticians Trade Show
honored Durham County
Commissioners Elna B.
Spaulding and William
Bell for thier outstanding
services to the Durham
community during the
banquet held on Saturday
evening.
