r 8 THE CAROLINA TIMES SAT., DECEMBER 20, 1980 I LOOKED AND I SAW The Master and the Man By Rev. C. R. Stone It h a truth within the will of God that Jesus is Master of matters seen and unseen in earth as in heaven. Through His obedience to come to earth in the flesh, God delegated Him supernatural powers to meet our needs. It was necessary, on earious ocha sions for the Master to demonstrate His power to feed large companies of peoples. He saw that it was important to feed, some unbelievers in exchange for their belief in Him as Saviour and Master. Addi tionally, it was necessary for Jesus to ever provide help to those whom He knew to be His enemies. In this light of His divine nature to minister help, His love was revealed without beholding to any particular group. It should be made clear to some that it was not our Father's wish to move evil from Jesus' effort to do good but rather that He resist becoming a doer of evil until His death. In ether words, Master Jesus was predestined to be slain as the Supreme Sacrifice for the whole world of sin. Furtheri it would appear through the natural eyes of the foes of Jesus that He should lose His divine effort to reconcile men to God. The idea expressed here represents God's in visible power to sustain Jesus amid men's spiritual blindness to His everlasting truths. There is a lesson of truth expressed here which must be taught to Christians. The point is that evil is not going to remove from the presence of good. God did not remove evil from Jesus' path of righteousness and does not plan to do it for the easy way out on behalf of Christians. We must be found doing the will of God amid evil as demonstrated by Jesus as the Master. Because of this concept on divine righteousness, we become little masters for kingdom building. He who hath ears to hear, let him hear. NATIVITY SCENE AT MT.
