An exhibition of "Woodcuts" by Joan Poole Holbrook, "Paintings" by Marvin Saltzman and "Serigraphs" by Jo Wright Whitten will be on ex hibit at the Durham Art Guild Galleries, 120 Morris Street, Durham. OUTDOOR CHRISTMAS SING-A-LONG Did you always want to carol, but were afraid to sing? On Saturday, December 20, at 10 a.m., the Small Center Division of the Durham Parks and Recreation Department is planning a Christmas Sing-A-Long at four Small Centers. The entire community is invited to participate at all, or each location of your choice. Group participation such as church choirs, boy scouts, senior citizens, choral groups, private agencies and others are welcome. Group pre-registration is required. Song sheets will be given out at each location, Everyone will meet in front of the small center of his choice at the designated times. Caroling will last approximately thirty minutes at each location. The locations are: West Durham Recreation Center, 10 a.m.; Walltown Recreation Center, 10:30 a.m.; Lyon Park Recreation Center, 11 a.m.; T.A. BASKETBALL SKILLS AND DEVELOP MENT RULES WORKSHOP The Durham Parks and Recreation Department Small Center Division is sponsoring a Basketball Skills and Development Rules Workshop for all ages on Saturday, December 20 at 12:30-1:30 p.m., at the W.D. Hill Recreation Center, 1308 Fayetteville St. The purpose of the workshop is to inform and demonstrate the necessary skills to be used in an organized basketball league game or tournament. Learning the proper skills and rules will help in the development of a good basketball player.
