. Fayettevillians and other shoppers across the surroun- ' '
ding counties came for the annual December 26 ritual of
returns, exchanges and bargain hunting during the
weekend. However, the snow, sleet and rain hampered
many on Saturday.
Many students, friends, and other helpers gathered
and went caroling in and around the city to various
homes for people they cared for and thought would ap-r,
predate it. Some decorated their horses, others rode 1
some walked, Other clubs, volunteers and organizations
visited the rest homes and elderly as well.

Well, another year has gone by. It seenw like each
year passes by a little faster than the year before. We
have accomplished a lot this year: some of us' a new
house and new furniture, a good job, good health, a
new car, a new coat, a new baby and many other new
things. Anyway, the most important thing was that we
were able to be together, to share and to love.
