Conference par ticipants were addressed n by Dr. Benjamin Hooks, executive director of the NAACP and Senator Howard Baker, (R-Tenn) Senate Majority Leader. Workshops centered on the effects of the proposed 1 legislation as well as techniques on how to lob by effectively. Par-; ticipants visited their Con ' gressmen on Wednesday . Mrs, Col- eman said, "This Legislative Mobilization Conference won't be suc- cessful if it is a one-shot effort.
