Stona - The idea of our living in this world infested with in creasing evils is too difficult without the peace Jesus gives. His spirit,1 descended on us, makes problems which we encounter much easier to endure. Men cannot afford to think for a moment that they can get along ex clusively of bearing their burdens. Christians often become targets . of " harsh persecutions for their acknowledgment of Jesus as their first preference. Further, the peace which js made available by our Lord, Jesus must reach the internal man through a divine spiritual penetration. Here is the primary reason why the peace which Jesus freely gives cannot be compared with the natural peace w,hich men insist on giving A persistent effort on the part of any man or people toward disobeying the Lord Jesus can forfeit the peace possessed.. Believers may too often discover that they are unhappy victims because the lust for those matters designed to entice us to sin. All matters, thrust upon us which are unreal cannot endure for long. The peace given through the channel of men on behalf of Satan are in our possession for our obedience to Satan. Although we may continue to obey Satan, he may withdraw his peace inspite of all we may do to please him. The con trasting point of view involving Jesus and Satan is clear. Believers in Jesus are allowed to retain their peace for obedience but Satan may, without notice, withdraw his peace inspite of the obedience of his believers. He who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
