The activity, designed to caU community attention to the problem of rape in urange uumy, im been scheduled for Saturday, May 2. Workshops, which will begin at 2 and end at 7 p.m., will be held at the Chapel of the Cross, 304. East Franklin St., in Chapel Hill. Discussions on acquain tance rape, sexual harassment, recovery from rape, assert iveness and women's self defense, and, men and rape, will be facilitated by volunteers with the Rape crisis Center. Additional topics include incest, domestic violence, racism and rape, children and rape, recovery from rape, and legal options in both civil and criminal court. The March itself will begin With a warm-up at 8:30 p.m. at the Bell Tower Parking Lot, scene of at least three assaults last Spring, and end with a rally at Carr Mill. , For more information, call the Women s Center at 968-4646. PARTY FAVOR BOXES NEEDED The Volunteer Services Unit at John Umstead Hospital is in need of party favor boxes for ward parties. Boxes should consist of plates, napkins, cups, party favors, candy, cookies, and Kool-A'de. There are 36 patients per ward. Decorations should be in a holiday theme and can include simple wall cutouts, if available. ROSE SHOW The Twelfth Annual Rose Show, sponsored by the Chapel Hill Rose Society, will open to the public Friday and Saturday, May 22-23, in the west court of Chapel Hill's University Mall. All show exhibits and competition will be open to home rose growers and arrangers who desire to par ticipate in categories including sixteen divisions of hor ticulture, plus divisions of miniature, old-fashioned roses, and artistic (floral arrangements).
