Classes will be held each Monday through Thursday from 7 to K) p.m. The school offers courses to meet needs 6f the areas of Christian Education, Bible Study, Theological training, and elementary education. Fall registration will be held on September 15, 16 and 17 and classes will begin Monday, September 21. Among the fall semester offerings are Old Testament, Christian Education, History of the Black Church, Basica and Advance English, and Basic Theology. Ushers Anniversary at Bell-Yeager The 7th Anniversary of the Bell-Yeager Senior Ushers, 128 Comwalljs Rd., will be observed Sun day, September 13 at 3 p.m. Rev. Women's Day at Orange Grove Annual Women's Day Service will be held at Orange Grove Baptist Church, 505 East End Ave., Sunday, September 20 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Celestine Sanders of Union Baptist Church will speak. The goals of the Convocation as set forth by ALC Of 'fice of Support Ministries and the Black Qergy were the sharing of experiences, the development of a better support system, and continuing education for the Lutheran Ministry. Dr. Speigner is an ordained clergyman in The American Lutheran Church and holds the title "rifxcv emeritus" in The American Lutehran Church. Black ALC Clergymen from all sections of evangelist the nation participated. An agenda was proposed . for Black ALC Clergymen and congregations. The Convocation for 1982 is scheduled for Ohio or Alabama. - Dr. Speigner is an outstanding religious and educational leader in North Carolina. He served for 15 years as a member of the Durham City Board of Education, which included 10 years as board chairman. He is "professor emeritus of geography" at North Carolina Central University.
