Lock hart, a senior management major from Garysburg, have been named winners of the 1981-82 . John H. Wheeler Scholarships in "the School of Business at North Carolina Central University. The scholarships com memorate the late John H. Wheeler, long-time president of Mechanics and Farmers Bank, a civic and political leader in Durham for many years. Funding for the scholarships is provided by the John H. Wheeler Foundation, whose president is Howard N. Lee. Each scholarship has a value of $1,000 and is awarded for the academic year. Miss Adams is a junior at NCCU, an Alumni Scholar at the university, and a member of the Na tional Association of Black Accountants. She plans a career as a Cer tified Public Accoun tant. She graduated from Harnett Central High School. Lockhart, a senior, plans a career in business management. He is a member of lota Tau Chapter of Phi Beta .Lambda the National Student l Business League, and the C.T. Willis Business Club at NCCU. He is a graduate of Gumberry High School. Dean Tyronza R.
