Michele Allison of
Durham has joined the
Department of Justice as
Associate Attorney and
assistant to Special
Deputy Attorney
General Charlie Murray
in the . Division of
Legislative Drafting and
Codification.
A 1974 graduate of
Hillside High School in
Durham, she attended
the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill
from 1974 to 1978,
receiving a B.A. degree
in English, and was
awarded the J.D. degree
from the North Carolina
Central University Law
School in Durham in
1981.

Program at UNC-Chapel
Hill.

University in 1976 and

ECU for a principal's
certificate in January.

African Baptist Church,
the Alpha Phi Alpha
fraternity, - the North
Carolina Association of
Educators, and the Na
tional Education
Association, Johnson is
active in the East
Carolina Officials
Association and of
ficiates at local football,
basketball and baseball

Johnson is married to
Mrs. Jean Lewis
Johnson and has one
