Stewart, '""J Chapel Choir Enjoys Season "Fellowship attdSharine" The Christmas season was a time of both fellowship and sharing for the Chapel Choir of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. The choir had its Christmas "Get tegether" ort Sunday evening, December 13, at the home of the W.S. Crewses on Jerome Road. The festive occasion was enjoyed by members of the choir and their guests. Mrs. Carolyn Evans, president of the choir, prepared the delicious food and tasty hot apple cider, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Choir members and guests attending were: Mmes. Council of Govern ments. These classes are designed to teach people how to help save a heart 7 attack victim's life. , This is the second year : of a two year effort to" train five per cent of the region's citizens in this life saving technique. More than 11,000 per sons in the six counties of Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Orange, and Wake have already received the training. Classes are scheduled to begin January 13.
