' ' ' CHILD AND PARENT SUPPORT SERVICES (CAPSS) will begin its Parent Aide Training program in February (exact time and date to be announced). Parent Aides are volunteers who work on a . one-to-one basis with parents in stress offering counseling, support, advocacy and referral to other community resources. Training includes counseling and listening skills, an overview of child abuse and neglect, crisis intervention strategies; child development and family theory.
