Large bowls of magnolia blossoms produced a summer fragrance. Jv--, With the president, Mrs. Genevieve McCrea, presiding, the hostess opened the Garden Gate with a song, prayer and flower .quotations by the members. Following wrapup discussions of the Queen's Contest and the convention, progress reports were made for the senior club by Mrs, Mary C. Grant and for the junior club by Ms. Vivian Tirhlic. . . For various acts of kindness rendered to La Petite members, Ms. Timlic presented certificates of ap preciation from the club to Mesdames Margaret Allen, Helen Brown, Loretta Jones, Eldria Sherrill, Miss M.L. Stephens, Gregory Hart and Dr. J.S. Parked Mrs. McCrea presented the club members certificates of appreciation for the full cooperation they have shown.
