By Mrs. T.H.Kinney
Some wonderful summertime entertainment was
enjoyed Sunday at the Summer In The Park oh
v Rowan Street. Some 700 gathered out of doors for
musical entertainment. They lounged on blankets
and enjoyed snacks while listening to jazz by Group
Sax, featuring trumpeter Ray Codrington. There;
was something for, all who attended. You are in
vited to check the schedule and come on out!.
On July 27 there will be another day of voting to
settle the June 29 counts. All of us who arc eligible
need to make that extra effort to go and vote again.
May the "best" win!
