-pointed the first Zafa Debutante Committee at its
September, 1982 meeting. -
The Zafa Debutante Ball was set for April 1 983 at
which time young ladies who are juniors or seniors
or college freshmen, of any high school or college,
ages 17-19, will be presented to society.
Persons having knowledge of any young lady
. wishing to be presented in April, should nass to the
committee or any daughter or noble of Zafa Tem
ple, the name and address of the young lady and
also name and address of her parents or guardian.
Letters of information, applications and criteria
will be : mailed to each young lady and her
parentsguardian upon receipt of her name. Several
clinics, forums and activities will take place
ipreceeding the preparing the young lady, her escort
and parents for the wondrous occasion.

Cardettes showered Miss Allen at the home of Mrs.
Johnson.
After Wedding Breakfast
Mrs. Janet Kennell, aunt of the bride, and Mrs.
Edith Johnson were hostesses at a breakfast on
Sunday morning in honor of the bride and groom.
After breakfastthe newlyweds said goodbye to
family and friends before leaving for a honeymoon
trip to Cove Haven, Lakeville, Pennsylvania in the
Poconos.
The couple will live in Morganton.
