Bishop Philip R. Cousin, former Ministet of St. Joseph's and now: Presiding Bishop of the Ninth Episcopal District of the African Methodisi Episcopal Church. Birmingham, Ala., will preach at the II a.m. .Worship Service.: J - While serving as Pastor of St. Joseph's he led the congregation into relocating the church from 804 Faycttcville St, to 2521 Fayetteville St. He was elected the 96th Bishop Of the A.M.E. Church in Atlanta, Ga. in June 1976. He became the first Minister of St. Joseph's! and the first, in North Carolina to be elevated to the Episcopacy in the A.M.E. Church. Bishop Cousin is the last black to i serve on the Durham County School Board. Music will be furnished ty the Mass Choir.
