SATURDAY. DECEMBER 18, 1982-THE CAROLINA TIMES-3 Calendar and Announcements WINTER TENNIS SCHEDULE The Durham Parks and Recreation Dept.: - c . The following courts are open for free play from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: East End, Southern Boundaries, Whippoorwill, Garrett Road, Elmira, Morreene Road, Fdrest HUls, Rock Quarry, Northgate Fane, Oval Drive Park. The following locations are open for night free play 5-9 p.m.: Rock Quarry, Elmira, Morreene Road, Forest Hills, Garrett Road. There will not be an attendant on duty. The lights must be activated by the player turning the light switch up once. The light switch is located near the entrance to the court. The group, mostly senior citizens, plays contract, pro gressive table Bridge so that a partnership arrange ment is not necessary. If interested, phone 477-4563. Youth KIDSTRESS WORKSHOP Adults are not the only people who get uptight-sometimes. Children face situations daily which can cause tension and x . T . 1 T"! 1 CI ! stress, urug counseling ana evaluation services Kidstress Workshop will teach your children creative and safe ways to relieve tension and avoid feeling over-stressed. Kidstress is for ages 9-12. Saturday, December 18 from 10 to 12:30 at South Square Mall Community Room. Pre-reigistration required. $8 fee. Call Barbara Patton at 688-8244. FUN-A-RAMA W.D. Hill Recreation Center is offering a Christmas Fun-A-Rama for preteens, ages 5-12. Program will include: modern dance, baton, cheerleading, basketball clinics, and lots of fun and games. The YWCA will provide all day activities fori children on Dec. 20, 23, 27-31 . The hours will be 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. There is a small charge.
