Matthews was in Ahos kie on business a short while Tues day. Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Storey and children were callers in the home of Mrs. Storey's parents, at Mur-' ' freesboro, Wednesday afternoon. Misaea Vera, Carrie and Bernice Leigh Parker, who are ' attending week-end in their respective home. Quite s number of the people of the community were callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Cope land Sunday. Mr. H. 0. Boulter is erecting a new ?tore-in the community. Mrs. C. C. Parker is quite ill at this writing. Ws are hoping for her speedy recovery. Mr. and .Mfs. T. T. Milling their stay at the Sanatorium pleasant was one of the chief objects of her life and she wha sincerely loved gnd mourned by all who luiew her. It is, therefore, peculiarly appropriate that the radio outfit, which will enable the patienta to receive religious ser vices, concerts and various forms of entertainment from all sending sta tions within 1,000 miles, be dedi cated to Mrs. McBrayer. The donors have placed an order for the equipment and it will be erected1^ wlthia a abort time. - . = In order that the patients who are confined to bod may enjoy the con certs, a loud speaker attachment will be placed in each of the four Infirm ary wards. A complete outfit will be placed in the- general, assembly hell, where the patients who are al lowed exercise may listen in. By connecting the Sanatorium* up with the outaide world in this way, a great deal of the tedum of taking the cure will be overcome and the staff and patients at the Sanatorium feel very grateful to it friends who have remembered it in this generous manner.
