Yert entertained a number of young people from eight to eleven j'clock in honor of their guest, Miss Annie Mae McMullen, of Edenton, N. C. Punch was served by Misses Earle Lawrence and Lena Moore Rawles. The porch swing and lawn benches were occupied at all times by the "star gazers." At ten-thirty a delicious course of ice cream and cake was served and at the hour of eleven, the crowd began to leave, ex pressing themselves as having a most pleasant evening.
