Death of Mr. Joseph Carter
The funeral of Mr. Joseph Carter,
who died last Sunday night at St.
Christophers Hospital, Norfolk, was
held st the home Tuesday afternoon
by Rev. E. N. Gardner. Interment
was in the family burying ground
near the honis. Mr. Carter is sur
vived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Worrell
Carter, one son, Lloyd Carter who
lives in the Carter home end a mar
ried daughter of Portsmouth and sev
eral grand children. .
