Hal is a good railroad man and fully deserves the promotion. The rock is being gotten out to macadamize ihe road leading out of High Point to Winston-Salem as far as the Guilford county line. The macadam road south from High l oint toward Archuale has already been completed. The Winston-Salem road will be easier to grade than the Archdale road, consequently bet ter tune will be made in completing it. Greensboro Patriot.
