The McAlister Ross Lumber Com pany with office and mills at, Lilling- ton, N C, was orgauized hero last week, the charter authorizing a capi tal of S100.000 was issued by the Sec retary of State a few days ago. The company begins business with a paid in capital of $15,000 with C O Mc A lister president and Mr Charles Koss, secretary and treasurer. Mr Nathan York of Soap Stone Mt, near Raniseur, died at the residence of bis son-in-law Mr Alfred Williams on December 31th "Aged 78 years and two months. He was a good neighbor, a kind and affectionate father and an upright citizen. His end was peace. Tha Angel ol Death. The death anael visited the home of Mr H C Ingram Mondav, December 25, l'J05, and carried away his loving and devoted wife. Mrs Ingram leaves a husband and four children, seven grand-children, one brother, one sinter and many friends to iiiim their loss. Mrs Ingram was a conticienriotm Christian und a great worker in the Muster's vinevard.
