She selected cer articles 'and had the bill 1 made out, and was about to pay. it, when she discovered that her purse was missing, and told the jeweler she must decline taking the articles as she had been robbed on her way down. He enquired particularly about the company in the omnibusr and she told him about the man with the diamond ring., She-at his direction ex amined her pocket again, and turned it inside out, when lo ! here was that ring.
